300 Points For Walking Into Target Stores!

 There are several applications out there where you can earn rewards just by "checking in".

One of those sites it called Shopkick. You basically check into stores and scan products. You earn points by doing so. The points then can be redeemed for different things. It is a FREE app.

You can  sign up and if you enter my code: ceres3908 when you sign up we will both earn 50 kickbucks. You can cash out for a gift card with very few points. You can download the app right to your smart phone also.

Right after you downloaded the app, go to the main "Collect" screen and tap that banner at the top that says "Got a promo code?' Enter the promo code on the next screen and your kickbucks will automatically be updated. You only have 24 hours after registering to enter your code.

Target just posted an offer of 300 kickbucks when you walk into a Target store, so get the app and head to your nearest Target and check in!

They also offer exclusive discount codes to places like Macy's, American Eagle, Best Buy and Sports Authority.

There is another site: Checkpoints where you can earn points also. When you sign up enter code: JANE4girls for a bonus.  They offer the same type of gift cards and awards as shopkick.

Holiday Trolly - Ride the downtown trolley for FREE between Houstons downtown holiday spots. Schedule on their site.

Lowes Build and Grow - Each Saturday during December you can make one part of a train for FREE. Make them all for a complete set.

Michaels - FREE Passport Imagination even going on Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 10am

Clearance Deals You Don't Want to Miss

Christmas in July?  Almost. Target has begun their annual summer clearance.  You can find summer items including toys and games marked 75% off normal prices. Keep in mind, all stores are different and not all clearance items will be in the same area or even marked.

While at the Memorial City mall Target I found all of the paper and plastic products were still in their normal location with no signage of any markdowns at all. Luckily they have scanners all over the store and you can scan the items to do a price check. Some are only marked as 30% off but actually scan at 75% off.

A few notable items to look for are up&up paper plates, cups, plastic-ware and napkins all for 78¢ each!  Target "summer" fruit snacks 18 count are 84¢ each.

You can also find toys such as the Girl Gourmet cake bakery 75% off for only $4.98 with the refills running around $1, croquet and bocce ball sets for $4.99 and sidewalk chalk for 33¢.

They have tons of other "summer" items located near the school supplies, so check them out and scan them to see what kinds of deals you can find.
