Group buying power...have you heard of it? There are several sites out there that offer group buying power, that is a discount if a set number of people buy the deal. It could be set at 10 people or 1000 people or anywhere in between.

The discounts on what you are purchasing can be up to 90% off normal prices.  You can find these group discounts for food, entertainment, travel, clothing and even medical items. I have made a list of just some of the group buying sites out there.

As an added bonus to the already great discount is the ability for you to get your items for FREE...yes FREE.  Several of these sites offer different referral programs, such as a $10 bonus when friends buy from your link or another one offers the deal for FREE if you get three of your friends to buy into the deal also.

Once you find a deal that you like, you have the ability on most of these sites to share the deal via facebook, twitter or email. When you share the deal with your personal link and someone buys from that link, you are now ahead of the game.

Each site is a little different and the offers are different too. Make sure you read the fine print on the deals before you decide to buy. You have the ability to sign up for daily emails of the deals, so you don't forget, or you can just check the sites to see what they are offering.  You can also buy from other cities out there too, not just Houston. I took my family on a trip to San Antonio and kept checking all the group buying sites for deals in San Antonio and found all kinds of discounts on hotel, food and entertainment.
