Three Deals You Don't Want to Miss
This weeks
deals is all about Walgreens and the Register Reward program. For those
who don't know, Register Rewards or RR for short, is basically an
instant in store credit. You obtain them by purchasing specially
designated products. When you purchase the specified product a coupon
will print out for use on your next purchase. With a little planning you
can often get several items for FREE or close to it.
This week through Saturday at Walgreens there are several items that are FREE after Register Rewards, which means the amount of the Register Reward is equal to the purchase price of the item you are buying. If you go to page 12 of the ad you will see all the items that will give the Register Rewards.
To have the least amount of money out of pocket I suggest doing several transactions.
#1 Purchase the Rejuvicare supplement for $9.99 and get $9.99 RR back.
#2 Purchase the Ecotrin, Lusterwhite toothpaste, Walgreens vitamins and the Palmolive dish soap for $9.99 total and use the $9.99 RR from the prior transaction to pay nothing out of pocket and get back a $5, $2 and $2 Register Rewards for the qualifying items.
You now have a total of $9 in store credit to purchase other items.
#3 You could then purchase the Gillette Proglide razor for $9.89 and pay with your $9 RR and 89 cents out of pocket and get back $5 in Register Rewards to use on other items.

One question, my Walgreens told me I can only use only RR at a time, is this true? For example, you get a $5, $2, $2 equaling $9. Will they let you use all 3 on a purchase? They should, but they told me I can only use one. Thanks.

It is not exactly true. You can use more than one RR at a time. The only thing is your number of items must be equal or greater than the number of coupons and RR total.
So if you are wanting to use all three at once you must buy three or more items in that transaction.

I recently went to Walgreens and used coupons to stack onto the the items that would also be eligible for RR's. The cashier scanned the item, then used the store or manufacture coupon. When all was done I did not get any RR's printed out. I made sure I did not go over any limits for RR's. Do you know why this happened? Is there a particular order that needs to occur? Unfortunately I did not discover this till after I arrived home late that night. Perhaps there is no easy answer, I will just have to be more diligent in my checking out. Thank you for your help!

When you are supposed to receive them but don't it might be for several different reasons.
If you still have your receipts call 1-888-8coupon and let them know they didn't print out, they will ask for information from your receipt, and if it all checks out they will mail them to you.
