Get a gift card when you transfer your Rx
Many people are on a monthly prescription for many reasons, anything from high blood pressure to asthma medication. Frequently different pharmacies put out coupons offering you a gift card if you take your new or transferred prescription to them.
Right now, in the current Randalls ad which will be available until Tuesday evening, there is a coupon on the back page. That coupon will get you a $30 gift card to Randalls when you transfer your prescription to them. All you have to do is grab the ad, take it to the pharmacy and let them know you want to transfer you prescription to their store.
They in turn will do all the work. They will call your current pharmacy, get all the information and then have your prescription for you. As a bonus, you will get the $30 gift card. The coupon from Randalls has a longer expiration date, so if you think you might have an upcoming prescription, then pick up a few to have on hand.
Several pharmacies around town will also honor compeditor coupons for these gift cards. Just last week I was able to take a Walgreens coupon for a gift card to Kroger and they honored it for me. I would currently rather have a Kroger gift card than a Walgreens gift card. So check with your local pharmacies to see if they take compeditor coupons.
