Houston bayou flood reports

Heather Saucier of the Harris County Flood Control District provided Eyewitness News with the following water reports.

Out of bank conditions and still rising:
-Cypress Creek
-Little Cypress Creek
-Willow Creek
Homes and property in this area could be in danger of flooding if it hasn't happened already.

Out of Bank Conditions-Dropping
-Bear Creek
-South Mayde Creek
-Langham Creek

Saucier says the good news is that the four basins along Brays Bayou seemed to have prevented flooding in the Meyerland and Medical Center areas. The 10 basins along the White Oak Bayou also kept the water level down in other areas.

I drove over the retention basin @ 610 & South Post Oak this morning and it was completely full. Better there than in someone's house!
