Houston police officer hits and kills pedestrian
Eyewitness News has learned an HPD vehicle has struck and killed a pedestrian.
An officer was leaving the scene of another accident and struck a homeless man picking up cans in the street.
It happened at Highway 3 at Brookglen in Southeast Houston.

how sad, I am sure everyone will condem the officer but it was an accident as you all know they do happen. I am sure the officer is upset about the whole ordeal
