is your reporter stupid? Who cares whos fault it is. she must have been covering the democratic convention. what an idiot she is. QUit being so damn negative. 13 is also so negative.

Shay should think about a new job. We now she can't tell time. They said it would take 36 hours before help would arrive. Add the hours up Shay. Why don't you go on trash patrol and help the really hard working people.

Shay was one thing but I think you need to take the raving Wayne D off the air period. He acts like a beligerent, self centered idiot.

Why are your reporters so filled with anger?
    M. Shay should have been escorted out of the news conference. There is a lot of work to be done and all she does is try to get people angry and take away from the relief efforts. W. Dolcefino is the same way. I'm about to give up on Channel 13.

I and my family were very upset with Miya Shay today. Twice when she spoke to Judge Emmett, she was pitiful....going over and over the same thing. He tried ten ways to explain it to her. At one point today he told her he was not going to say what she was wanting him to say. She was especially disrespectful this evening, insisting on speaking even when it was obvious they were wanting to move on with information. She was downright rude. We want information, we don't want petty arguments. She monopolizes the question segments every time...almost all you hear is her voice. She just wants to focus on the negatives at a time when our leaders were trying to encourage us. It is obvious she doesn't listen because of the questions she asks. It's enough to make me not want to watch channel 13 with her on camera.

I understand the concerns of not getting information on how when and where these PODs will be placed but I do not understand why the efforts of the media are "hounding" on these points when everyone is really wanting to know the facts, when power will be restored, when other high priority services will be returned. Wayne is really out of base on the reporting.

We the public do not want to see our loved ones lying on the streets of Bolívar from the news media before personal notification is made. I 100% agree with the Governor on these points. I don't know how more politely the Governor can tell you guys they are making the best assessments and notifications they can. I commend you guys for efforts reporting from these very hazardous locations, but the public only want to know facts and not the media fighting the government.

Start reporting the news and not trying to create it.

M Shay was doing the same thing the rest of them were doing on the air-trying to make the government look bad. It came through when they interviewed Congressman Lampson and hounded him over and over about not being able to go certain places. The rescue crews are still running around trying to find survivors you morons at ABC13! A child can figure out why no one is being allowed to wander around with no purpose! How about this? REPORT something in Brazoria county! Where are the FEMA PODs in Galveston county and Brazoria county? Where can people get gas, water, ice, food, and shelter? THATS the information your viewers cound USE! Fire the morons you put on the air and get some reporters who aren't trying to grandstand with every government official they should be interviewing. DO YOUR OWN JOB BEFORE YOU SECOND GUESS SOMEONE ELSE ON HOW THEY DO THEIR JOB!

I'm appalled a the attitude of the reporters covering the hurricane, they are inciting, not reporting and there is no room for such attitude.
Dave Ward and Gina Gaston's long standing with our community is being wiped with the force of a hurricane because of the poor decision by KTRK's management to send Shay and Dolcefino to cover a serious event when both "reporters" act like clowns.
Please let the first reponders do their jobs, and those managing the scene explain their actions. I'm sure there will enough time in the future for both KTRK employees to clown around other issues.

Miya Shay is an embarrassment to Houstonians and a disgrace to journalism. I grew up watching 13, but the shameful antics of Shay and perennial clown Wayne Dolcefino have me changing the channel for good. Sorry, Dave.
