If we are in a non flood prone area how likely is it that we will be without water?

I know for sure that power by Dairy Ashford @ Beechnut and Eldridge @ Bellaire is already off from the Southwest side. I think all the locations near by may soon face the same situaation, just wanted to post a head up.

Part of the SW Houstons Braes Timber Sub, is without power. I tree fell over a powerline. This is in the 77074 zip code...

Power outages in 77083/ 77040/ also Sugarland Area reported by friends/family a few minutes ago. (approx 8:45pm)

My parents live at Antoine & Westview near Ikea and their whole neighborhood is out of power already

529 and fry rd power on and off but still have it for the most part at least 50-70 mph winds and rain,when will we be through it all thanks

Why is 50% of the power restored on Galveston when there are not supposed to be residents there? Seems like that should be last priority and where the people are should be number one.
